Recipe Sicilian cunzato bread

  • 400 g 1 loaf of durum wheat bread with sesame
  • 350 g ready-made pulp of yellow cherry tomatoes
  • 300 g cherry tomatoes
  • 60 g fresh almonds
  • 50 g anchovy fillets in oil
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • basil
  • salt
  • pepper

For the recipe some Sicilian cunzato bread, cut the loaf of bread in half and season the crumb with a couple of tablespoons of oil; toast it in a pan only on the crumb side until it is golden.
Season the tomato pulp with 1 tablespoon of oil and salt and spread it on the bread. Divide the two half loaves into slices.
Cut the cherry tomatoes and also season with salt, oil, pepper and basil.
Distribute them on the slices of bread and complete with anchovy fillets in oil and chopped almonds.
