The recipe for apple tartlets
There is no single recipe for apple pie just as there is no single recipe for apple pie.
You can make them in a thousand ways, with many types of flour, with other fruit, with more or less flavorings, with or without eggs, with or without fat.
But what we want to offer you is a recipe that works very well and that you can transform as you like if you want. It gets ready in no time!
Ingredients for 12 tartlets
125 g of sugar
120 g of soft butter or seed oil
200 g of flour 0 or 100 0 and 100 wholemeal
2 rennet apples
2 old golden apples
2 tablespoons of milk (also vegetable)
a pinch of salt
a sachet of yeast
2 tablespoons of granulated sugar for garnish
Peel the apples and cut them into fairly thin slices with a mandolin.
To prepare the dough, whip the soft butter with sugar.
Add the egg and the milk and then always whipping the sifted flour with baking powder and a pinch of salt.
You can flavor with grated lemon zest or vanilla or plenty of cinnamon.
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured muffin mold.
Tuck the apples into the dough by arranging them side by side.
Sprinkle everything with sugar and bake at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes.
For an egg-free version you can simply add more vegetable milk to the dough to make it creamy enough, or a jar of soy yogurt.
Obviously, instead of butter, use oil and for a more rustic result add wholemeal flour, or cereals, to flour 0.
Apples and pears

Baking cups or not?
Using one muffin mold greased and floured, you do not need paper cups, but if the mold is not non-stick enough, or if you want to serve or give the cupcakes in a prettier way, then line everything with colored paper cups.
