Homemade Italian Tiramisu

  • Egg white 2
  • Egg yolk 4
  • Sugar 100 g
  • Mascarpone cheese 400 g
  • Soletilla biscuits 200 g
  • Coffee 175 ml
  • Grated black chocolate 200 g
  • Cocoa powder

How to make homemade tiramisu

  1. First, we prepare a coffee pot very strong and let it cool. Afterwards, we set up the snow-capped whites and reserved them.

2. In another large bowl beat the yolks with sugar until it has a frothy consistency. At this moment we add the mascarpone little by little and continue beating at low speed. Incorporate the mounted whites and mix with a spatula making enveloping movements

3. In a rectangular mould, we put a layer of sponge cake soaked in the coffee. We cover them with a layer of mascarpone cream and sprinkle over half of the grated chocolate.

4. Repeat the operation: layer of brownies with coffee, layer of mascarpone cream and layer of grated chocolate.

5. Finally sprinkle with cocoa powder and store in the fridge a minimum of three hours, better all night, so that the mixture takes body.
